Former Fiorentina midfielder David Pizarro is keen to see Lucas Torreira signed permanently.
The midfielder has impressed on-loan from Arsenal.
“I really like Torreira, but he is a very different player to the one I was," Pizarro told Brivido Sportivo.
“He is having a great season after a few years in which he was unable to express himself to the full. He is returning to the performance levels we saw at Sampdoria.
“I had advised Fiorentina director Daniele Pradè to sign Torreira a while back. He is a modern midfielder, always goes at max speed and I hope he will remain in Florence. I was sure he'd be an ideal player for Fiorentina."
