Barcelona veteran Gerard Pique wants to see Ousmane Dembele signed to a new deal.
The French winger is out of contact in the summer and his future is uncertain. He was dropped in January after not signing an extension but Xavi has brought him back into his plans since.
Dembele's in his best form since he joined Barça from the Bundesliga in 2017, with his teammate from Germany, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, now joining him at the club and helping Xavi's team in attack.
"I would like him to renew with the club," Pique said.
"He's been an important player for Xavi and we are delighted with him."
