Manchester City chief Ferran Soriano has taken a swipe at Manchester United's spending.
Soriano was defending their swoop for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
He said, "If you look at the income of English clubs, Manchester United earns the most.
"They have earned £100m more than Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea."
"How much money has Manchester United spent in recent years and how much has Manchester City? If you analyse, you will see that Manchester United spent more than us, but we have won 11 trophies in recent years, and they have one or two."
