Manchester United are interested in Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
AS says United have been in contact with the player's camp about his situation.
After a superb first season in Spain, Valencia have opened new contract talks with Mamardashvili, which would include an increase of his current €20m buyout clause.
It's suggested United have informed Mamardashvili would join as cover for David de Gea and play in the Cups and Europa League.
He would arrive to replace Dean Henderson, who is in advanced talks with Newcastle United.
