West Ham United manager David Moyes hinted Jarrod Bowen should have won a penalty for his side against Arsenal.

Bowen was subject to a tough challenge from Gunners keeper Aaron Ramsdale in a 2-1 loss to the Gunners on Sunday.

The Englishman had got there first on the end of a long ball, when Ramsdale appeared to collide with him.

He was booked for diving, but Moyes suggested he should have left his leg in an area where Ramsdale would have made contact.

"I don't ever want my players to dive because I just don't really believe in it," Moyes said after the game.

"I think Jarrod could have easily left his leg there and trailing it into the goalkeeper, maybe he should have.

"It was a reckless challenge by the goalkeeper. The only thing that went for him was it was classed as no contact."
