Former Manchester United goalkeeper Paul Woolston says Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold wasn't a particularly big talent as a teenager.
Woolston, who retired this season, played with Alexander-Arnold for England U17s.
“He was a centre-midfielder," Woolston said to a Watford keeper Ben Foster on the 'Fozcast'.
"He was never someone special but he had a great work ethic and I think he's developed and is still developing into one of the best right-backs in the world.
“At that point I would not have said 'wow he is going to do this' but it's down to himself to work hard and get into that position."
