Diego Martinez has been named new coach of Espanyol.
The former Granada boss takes charge today after signing a two-year contract.
Martinez replaces Vicente Moreno, who leaves despite keeping Espanyol in the Primera.
Having left Granada in 2021, Martinez sat out last season and has been linked with Sevilla.
He has led Granada into the Europa League for season 2020/21.
