Ajax have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of the Eredivisie as Ryan Gravenberch is set to miss the remainder of the season.

The young midfielder is a vital presence in Erik ten Hag's team, as his all action displays often propel them forwards in transition.

The incoming Manchester United boss wants to sign off with Ajax with another league title.

De Telegraaf states that Gravenberch is out for around six weeks, which means he will not play again this term.

The youngster is being linked with a move to Bayern Munich as soon as the summer transfer window opens.

Ajax are currently four points ahead of PSV with three league games left.
