Atletico Madrid have rejected the chance to sign Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale.
Off contract in June, Bale favours playing on in the LaLiga next season with the aim of being match fit for Wales' World Cup campaign.
Cadena Cope says Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett made contact with Atletico sporting director Andrea Berta to offer the Wales captain.
But Berta replied: "We appreciate the offer but he is not a player who would enter into our plans."
Bale is being linked with Championship outfit Cardiff City.
