Former Italy striker Christian Vieri admits he expected Inter Milan to win the title this season.
AC Milan are currently Serie A leaders, with Vieri believing the howler by Inter goalkeeper Ionut Radu in defeat to Bologna critical.
“This is football," Vieri said of the topsy-turvy title race. "Otherwise, the favourite, which I believe Inter were, would always win.
“But you still need to play the matches and can't take for granted that you will win at Bologna. The mistake was what it was but it wasn't just on Radu.
“If you make a mistake three months before the end you make it up. At the end [of the season] it's harder with the pressure weighing down on you."
