SANDAKAN: The Sabah Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry has held discussions with local tourism players on the initiative to introducing direct flights from here to places such as Penang, Johor and Singapore.
Welcoming the idea, its Minister Datuk Jafry Arifin (pic) said this is possible as Sandakan Airport has been upgraded.
