Ajax have identified their replacement for departing coach Erik ten Hag.
Ten Hag will leave Ajax for Manchester United at the end of the Eredivisie campaign.
Nieuwsblad says Ajax are turning to Club Brugge coach Alfred Schreuder as his replacement.
Schreuder can leave Brugge thanks to a €1.5m release clause. However, both clubs only want to finalise negotiations after their respective championship title battles have been completed.
Schreuder moved to Brugge earlier this season after being sacked as Barcelona assistant coach.
