Nowadays with scammers all around, we live in a very dangerous world where all the money in your bank can disappear in a second. There have been many cases where people have mysteriously lost all their money in their account to unknown transactions.


Recently. a Twitter user @anisssurayaaa shared a very helpful tip on how to get back all the money that you've lost. Here's how:


#1 Call the number at the back of your bank card

According to the Tweet, you should immediately call the number on the back of the card and inform the customer service representative that there has been an unknown transaction. They will then inform you that they will investigate the matter and block your card.

#2 Check all transactions and highlight the unknown ones

Go to your bank app and check your transaction history. Screenshot all your transactions and highlight the unknown ones.


#3 Download and fill up the Dispute Form

According to the tweet, the customer service will not ask you to do this but you are advised to do so. All you have to do is google your bank name and the words dispute form like "Maybank Dispute Form".



#4 Email the bank

Attach the form and the screenshot of transactions to the email when sending and explain what happened in detail.



If you use Maybank, the Tweet includes that you should send the email to disputemgmt@maybank.com.my or cfrm@maybank.com.my. it is also advised that your CC Bank Negara in your email. Here's their email: bnmtelelink@bnm.gov.my


#5 Go to the nearest bank and make a new card

Since your bank card is blocked you will have to get a new one.

#6 Wait for the money to be returned to your account

Now all you have to do is wait. According to a comment, on the Tweet, a user mentioned how they experienced the same situation in March and got back their money last month. So we can assume it takes about a month or longer for the bank to investigate the issue.
