Javier Tebas insists Manchester City signing Erling Haaland wouldn't get a game at Real Madrid.

The LaLiga president opened the LaLiga Twenty Nine restaurant in Madrid, in an event also attended by Barcelona's Mateu Alemany.

"That's Madrid's decision," Tebas said, questioned about Real Madrid not signing Haaland. "With what he has in front of him, I don't know if Haaland had a place.

"[Karim] Benzema, Vinicius [Junior], players of such a high level... I don't know if he would bring much to Real Madrid.

"Obviously I would have liked him [in LaLiga Santander], but we can't have them all."
