Tim Iroegbunam was awarded his full Aston Villa debut for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Norwich City.
The 18-year-old midfielder, who had previously made two substitute appearances, was named in Villa's starting XI for the clash against the Canaries at Villa Park.
Villa went onto win 2-0 and condemn Norwich to relegation.
Villa boss Steven Gerrard later said, “We've played better this season and haven't got results.
"We weren't at our best but I'm still pleased with the three points."
