Tuaran: Sabah Polo Association (SPA) hopes to provide the opportunity for young enthusiasts to take up polo as a sport while making polo a tourist attraction for the State.
“It is our objective to make polo into a tourism attraction for Sabah, just as Kota Belud is known for its Cowboys of East Malaysia,” said SPA Chairman Johnson Or.
“We aim towards hosting a Sabah Statewide Annual polo tournament using our local breed ponies,” he added after handing over a donation of RM15,000 in cash on behalf of SPA to Home Tuaran Orphanage or Rumah Anak Yatim and Maahad Tahfiz, here, recently.
