Villarreal defender Raul Albiol says they cannot be down after their Champions League semifinal defeat to Liverpool.
Villarreal lost 2-3 to Liverpool on the night to lose the semifinal 2-5 on aggregate.
Albiol said, "We so much wanted to give our fans their first Champions League final and it hurts that we've not been able to. We'll just continue to try and do things well – that's what brought us this far, and it's how to get on with life now that this dream hasn't been possible.
"Big teams have this ability to score when the chances present themselves. It's what separates them. We've seen that from City and Madrid last week. That's what took Liverpool away from us in this semi-final – they didn't have a lot more chances, but they took the ones that counted.
"The biggest teams just do that. Goals count – more than anything else."
