It marked the Romanian's first campaign in the job.
“All clubs have this goal," he said of the importance of developing youth, “all youth sectors work to develop the young players and bring them through to the first team.
"This is the goal of all clubs. I'm always proud of my young guys."
The Nerazzurri finished runner-up in Primavera 1 this season behind winners Roma.
