Kota Kinabalu: Tabs Safa Bandaraya will continue to use their current Sukma football field in Likas for their development programme.
Its chairman Sulaiman Mohd Noor said it has always been their priority to carry out their weekend sessions since the field was leased by Sabah Sports Board a few years ago.
He said a management and care bureau is setting up soon to ensure the field will be well maintained and suitable for their football programmes.
“We have to make sure that apart from carrying out our programme, the pitch can also be used to hold tournaments involving only the trainees,” he said.
Meanwhile, his deputy Lokman Singgim expressed his gratitude to Sabah Football Association President Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin for his support in getting the lease extension from Sabah Sports Board.
