SANDAKAN: Sabah AIDS Awareness Group Association (Saga) in collaboration with five other non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are organising a free HPV self-screening campaign on June 19.
The campaign, to be held from 8.30am to 4pm at Pawe Centre near Rumah Harapan here, include Sandakan Chinese Women’s Association, Sabata, Malaysia Leprosy Relief Association, Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (Pawe) Sandakan and Elopura and Malaysia Diabetes Association.
The organisers said the campaign is also sponsored by the Rose Foundation of University Malaya Medical Centre.
“We are privileged that they chose Sandakan to host this programme in Sabah,” they added in a statement, here, Thursday.
The public is also encouraged to join the event.
