Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan says he expects to discuss his situation this summer.
Gundogan's deal expires in 2023.
"We'll get together when the time comes and share our ideas and plans, and then you'll see what comes of it," the 31-year-old told Kicker.
"In terms of football, there's certainly still no better address than Manchester City under Pep Guardiola and I think that will hardly change in the next few years.
"Of course I would have liked to have played a little longer in one or the other important games in the last few months. That's no secret. I'm a player who always wants to play."
