Manchester United have pulled back from new contract talks with Luke Shaw.

The left-back's current deal runs to 2023.

The Telegraph says United have taken a pause in negotiations over a new contract with Shaw.

The club's management wants to wait for new United manager Erik ten Hag to have a personal meeting with the player.

United are willing to offer Shaw a new contract until 2026. The player's salary could be £180,000 a week.
