BEAUFORT: Villagers in Kg Labi Gadong in Lumadan found the body of a man from Keningau who had drowned.
The deceased is believed to be in his 20s, according to District Police Chief Yusoff Zaki Yaacob, who added that the body was discovered in the Padas River at 4.15pm on Tuesday.
Villagers tied the corpse to a tree to keep it from drifting away while waiting for the police.
