Jordan Pickford has hailed Everton teammate Vitaly Mykolenko after his stunning goal against Leicester City on Sunday.
The Ukraine fullback opened the scoring as Everton grabbed a vital 2-1 victory at the King Power Stadium, which lifted them out of the relegation zone.
Pickford told the club's website: "We're all pleased for Myko. His first goal was decent... Not too bad! He defends well every game and he's got a goal today.
"Myko has come in and learned English straight away, he's a great lad and his attitude is top drawer.
"Obviously, it's sad what is going on [in Ukraine], but his attitude and dedication are second to none.
"It was all about the team performance for us today.
"To win 2-1 away from home - it feels like forever since we last won away, but today we showed the team spirit that we need.
"Now we mustn't get carried away. We've got to go again on Wednesday."
