GEORGE TOWN – A man is feared to have jumped off the Penang Bridge at around 11.42am today (May 16).

Senior Fire Officer Noor Sakila Said told The Vibes that a search-and-rescue team from the Perai station was dispatched to KM4.0 from the island heading towards the mainland.

When they arrived at the location, they found a white Perodua Myvi parked at the bridge with its engine still running.

The search is still ongoing at the time of writing.

The victim is identified as Tee Wee Kuang, 28, who was reported by a passerby who allegedly saw him jumping off the bridge.

Several items such as the victim’s identity card, driver’s license, a fan, and several mobile phones were also found inside the car.
