Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hopes to keep hold of Ilkay Gundogan.
Gundogan still has a year to run on his City deal, though there is talk of the midfielder being granted a free transfer this summer.
For his part, Guardiola admits he doesn't want to lose the Germany international.
"If you ask me," said Guardiola, "personally I would like Ilkay to play here again next year.
"From what I know, in fact, there is no intention of selling him. If he has the idea of trying a new experience, I can't say that."
