Kota Kinabalu: Sabah FC thrashed Penang FC 4-2 with a brace from skipper Baddrol Bakhtiar at the City Stadium on Tuesday night to move second in the table standing.
The hosts started the match positively and missed several chances to score inside the opening 10 minutes including one denied by Rhinos goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi Che Mat, who pulled off a stunning block from a Faizat Ghazli’s point blank header, before Sabah took the lead against the run of play in the 23rd minute.
