Erik ten Hag admits he's disappointed Manchester United failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.
Ten Hag will take charge of United having guided Ajax to the Eredivisie title - and so Champions League qualification.
The Dutchman said: "Painful for United, but also for me.
"It's a competition I'm going to miss incredibly. But working in the Premier League makes up for a lot."
United are still in danger of not even making the Europa League with West Ham hot on their heels.
