Burnley midfielder Jack Cork admits they struggled to get into the game for defeat at home to Aston Villa.

The 3-1 reverse is a blow to Burnley's survival hopes.

Cork said, “The two goals, they just got away from us in the second-half, we've got three good games to come so we need to crack on.

“We'll need everyone back and we haven't got them at the minute, and it's frustrating because we know how good we can be, so it was frustrating.

“They scored two early goals and that's all it was really, we got through it, we've had a lot of injuries and had a slow start, and in the second-half when we went 3-0 down there's nothing much you can do."

He continued: “It's down to us to get the points ourselves and we know what we need to do, we're in one of the better positions, we've got games to play and hopefully we can finish the season well.

“We've got three good games coming up, so we'll need to stick together and keep going.

“We know what we are good at, and if we do that and keep our shape, we can get results and we've got to keep being on the front foot and keep believing.

“Everyone has worked hard, and we've done well in our last few games, so we have belief."
