Sassuolo GM Giovanni Carnevali admits sale talks with AC Milan over Domenico Berardi have abruptly stopped.
Carnevali says they're prepared to sell the Italy striker this summer, though negotiations with the Rossonero have stalled.
He told Il Corriere dello Sport: "In his role, I don't see stronger players than Berardi.
"Before the (Milan) club was at the centre of a sale negotiation, I met the Milan managers who had asked for information for more than one player.
"Now with the rumours of the sale, everything has stopped."
