Tottenham Hotspur loanee Troy Parrott netted for MK Dons in vain against Wycombe in their League One play-off semi-final.

The Dons were unable to do enough to stay alive in the tie at home in the second leg, having lost the first clash 2-0.

Wycombe did lose the second leg 1-0 to Parrott's goal, but progress to the final, where they will take on Sheffield Wednesday or Sunderland.

For his part, Parrott will be hoping he has shown his quality with MK Dons this season.

The youngster will either want a shot at first team football at Tottenham, or a loan move to a Championship or Premier League side.

Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday play their second leg on Monday.
