SANDAKAN: Parti Warisan President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal voiced concern over the increasing prices of food items, in particular cooking oil.
“The Government must address this problem because the people are already burdened by an economic downturn due to the Covid-19 pandemic and these price hikes make life even harder for them,” he said after a walkabout at the Mile 8 Market, here, recently.
Accompanying Shafie were Karamunting Assemblyman George Hiew Vun Zin, Elopura Assemblymen Calvin Chong Ket Kiun and Gum-Gum Assemblyman Arunarsin Taib.
