Everton striker Richarlison admits he was stunned by this week's pitch invasion.

The Toffees came from 2-0 down to claim a dramatic 3-2 win at Goodison Park to secure their Premier League survival with one game to spare.

Supporters could not contain their emotion as numerous fans invaded the pitch after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's 85th minute winner, before storming the field of play once again following the final whistle.

Richarlison told Globo Esporte: "The invasion of the crowd was something I had never witnessed in my career.

"They were all very distressed, worried about the situation, and in the end it was a relief for everyone to win and escape relegation. It was all very exciting."

The 25-year-old, who scored the equaliser against the Eagles, also revealed how much the match meant to him, as well as stating that Everton can't find themselves in similar danger again.

He said: "It was one of the most special games of my career. A moment I will never forget.

"We went through a very difficult situation during the season, there was nothing calm during the year and what remains is the learning of all of us, because a team like Everton can no longer be in a situation like this."
