Kota Kinabalu: Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry (KPDNHEP) Sabah Chief Enforcement Officer Zulfamy Mat Udi said increased demand for 1kg polybag cooking oil during the festive season is the reason for the shortage in the market.
He said the polybag cooking oil quota for Sabah remained unchanged from the prior month.
He was responding to claims of shortage of polybag cooking oil and sugar supplies in the State recently.
