Manchester City U18s thrashed Newcastle United 13-0 on Saturday as they celebrated being champions.

City had already secured the Premier League North title after second-place Liverpool lost to Nottingham Forest in midweek. The City team have lost just three matches all season while bottom club Newcastle have won just three.

William Dickson and Nico O'Reilly netted hat-tricks for the hosts on Saturday afternoon while Carlos Borges and Josh Adam both grabbed braces. Kian Breckin, Adedire Mebude and Matthew Whittingham all also got on the scoresheet in the rout.

Title celebrations took place after the final whistle. It's a second crown in a row for the teenagers, who will go on to face either Premier League South title contenders Southampton or West Ham in the national final for the ultimate prize.
