Chelsea are being linked with a surprise move for Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella.
The left-sided flyer stood out in a fantastic Brighton display against Manchester United at the weekend, when they won 4-0 at home.
According to Goal, Cucurella is emerging as a realistic option for the Blues to replace Marcos Alonso.
Not only is he an attacking full-back in the same mold as Alonso, but Cucurella also has experience playing as a central defender.
Such versatility appeals to manager Thomas Tuchel, especially as he plays a back three or back five in certain situations.
Cucurella played in central defense for Brighton when they kept a clean sheet against Tottenham, Norwich, and Wolves this season.
