Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount was happy to end the season with victory over Watford.
Mount admitted the team made it tougher to get the win than it could have been but he is pleased that unlike in several other home games this season, there was a response when the opponents found the net.
He said, "We are buzzing for Ross (Barkley) to have come on and score and for Chilly (Ben Chilwell) to come on right at the end, and there was a big farewell for Rudi. It feels like the season has gone on for ages but now it has come to an end we look forward to next season.
"I definitely think that there are exciting times ahead. We don't know too much what is going on behind the scenes but we are excited as players, we are absolutely buzzing for the next season. Hopefully we can keep progressing as a club."
