Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries & Commodities Datuk Willie Anak Mongin is mum on his political future with the 15th General Election (GE15) on the horizon.
Willie, who won the Puncak Borneo seat in the 2018 parliamentary election, is currently a member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), after he defected from Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) on whose ticket he won his seat.
Willie could defend his seat under Bersatu, and has made his intention clear to Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) to support him and not field a candidate in the constituency, saying as incumbent he should be given the chance to do so in the 15th General Election (GE15).
