PKR elections: Rafizi leads in S'gor and Melaka

KUALA LUMPUR – The PKR deputy president race heats up with Rafizi Ramli taking a lead in Selangor and Melaka over Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail as results are slowly pouring in.

Taking into account votes from 21 of Selangor’s 22 divisions, Rafizi has 24,678 votes compared to Saifuddin’s 20,689. According to the official results site, Bangi has yet to be accounted for.

As for Melaka, the former Pandan MP garnered a resounding win with more than 2,400 votes compared to Saifuddin, who did not break the 2,000-mark. – The Vibes, May 29, 2022
