PAPAR: Independent Sindumin Assemblyman Datuk Dr Yusof Yaacob, whose application to rejoin Umno has been accepted, in principle, may face uncertainty on whether he will be allowed to contest in a general election.
Sabah Umno Liaision head Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said any former Umno leader who wishes to rejoin has to follow the party Constitution and be an ordinary member for at least three years, during which contesting in any general election during the period is barred.
