Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has revealed that he had a great conversation with club legend Kevin Keegan.
The ex-Bournemouth manager has been outstanding at the Magpies since taking over midway through the season.
Howe's side are one of the form teams since Christmas, and are safely mid table after looking odds on for relegation earlier in the campaign.
"I spoke to Kevin when I first got the job," Howe told reporters.
"He was one of my first calls. We had a really good conversation.
"He's someone I'll be speaking to again. He's someone I respect.
"With his association with the club, it would be foolish of me not to tap into his knowledge."
