Monza president Silvio Berlusconi has denied claims he plans to sell the club.
With Monza one game away from promotion to Serie A, it's been claimed Berlusconi wants to sell and then buy back AC Milan.
Monza won the first leg 2-1 of their playoff against Pisa and the decider is on Sunday evening.
“The story of selling Monza to acquire a quota of Milan shares is completely without foundation," wrote Berlusconi on social media.
“Monza is not for sale. Now we need the utmost concentration for Sunday's final."
