Bayern Munich made a fresh attempt for Toni Rudiger last month, it has been revealed.
The Chelsea defender is off contract in June andhe has committed to a move to Real Madrid.
Rudiger also held talks with Bayern earlier this year, though his demands turned off the German giants at the time.
BILD says after their Champions League elimination at the hands of Villarreal, Bayern made a new attempt to reopen talks with Rudiger, realising the team lacked leadership.
However, by that time Rudiger had already committed to Real and immediately shut the door on Bayern.
