BEAUFORT: The Fire and Rescue Station here added another number to ensure that it receive all emergency calls.
Fire and Rescue Station Chief Mohammad Hasbullah Nenggok said the new number is in line with the Fire and Rescue Department’s vision as a high-performance fire and rescue organisation.
The new additional number of Beaufort fire station is 019-2448723.
“With this new line, the community can report any incident via WhatsApp to the new number,” he said.
Mohammad Hasbullah also said that it will also allow callers to send the location via goggle maps to ensure the accuracy of the incident location.
He said callers can also send photos of the accident so that the firefighters can assess which case should be prioritised.
