Edinson Cavani was reportedly furious with Manchester United signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Express says Cavani was left infuriated by Ronaldo's arrival after the club had told him he would be their main striker for the 2021/22 season.
Cavani, 35, resisted the temptation to leave Old Trafford last summer to sign a one-year extension.
The same won't happen this summer after his bit-part role this season.
Ronaldo's presence and injuries have contributed to Cavani making just 12 Premier League appearances, with a return of two goals.
Conversely, 37-year-old Ronaldo has scored 17 goals in 28 Premier League appearances.
