
TAMBUNAN: Two people, including a teenage girl, were seriously injured when the Honda EX5 motorcycle they were in collided with an 8-tonne lorry at Tambunan-Keningau road near the Tambunan Golf Club, Sunday.
The district Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 1.23am and a team of eight firefighters led by Operations Officer Severinus Sixtus rushed to the scene.
There were two victims, namely a male rider and a 14 -year -old girl pillion rider who suffered serious injuries. The victims were given initial treatment by the EMRS team and then sent to Tambunan Hospital using an ambulance and EMRS machinery for further treatment. The operation ended at 2.30am.
