David de Gea has launched a furious attack on his underachieving Manchester United teammates.

The goalkeeper was speaking after a final day defeat at Crystal Palace on Sunday.

"I just want to forget this season and move on. It has been horrible, a lousy season in every way. It's not good enough for a club like Manchester United. The players who do not want to be here can leave, those who want to be here can stay," the goalkeeper told the Manchester Evening News.

"I look forward to playing under Erik ten Hag. I look forward to next season with a new coach and new players. The coach and staff are already looking for new players, hopefully they bring in players with the right character."
