Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Under-19 squad defeated Sarawak United 2-0 in the Youth Cup Group C match at Penampang Stadium on Wednesday.
Nazly Taun’s close range strike in the 17th minute put them 1-0 ahead in the first half before Roullindo Ngonzalos Lawrence volleyed home the second from outside the box in the 69th minute to seal the victory.
It was also the team’s first win since they beat Kuching City FC 1-0 at home in early March.
