Watford duo Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaila Sarr will miss Wednesday's clash with Everton.
The Hornets' were relegated to the Championship after Saturday's loss to Crystal Palace.
"With [Tom] Cleverley, it's the injury he received in the game, with [Emmanuel] Dennis and [Ismaila] Sarr it's a knee problem that they've reported which has ruled them out, and with [Joshua] King and [Kiko] Femenia, it's sickness. We were hoping it would pass but it hasn't yet," Hodgson told the club's website.
"[Juraj] Kucka missed the last game due to a knee problem and will miss the next one for the same problem."
The news will be welcomed by Everton as they seek to move further away from the relegation zone.
Frank Lampard's side are one point ahead of 18th-placed Leeds United with a game in hand.
