The Northern Ireland youngster has only been playing football for four years.
The 18 year-old told whufc.com: "It's unbelievable.
“From starting football very late in my life, to being where I am now in such a short space of time, it's been unbelievable for me. I'm really happy, as are my family and my friends, and I'm just proud to sign this contract because I wouldn't have been able to do it without them.
“When I got the news, it was one of the best days of my life. I was really nervous going in, but when [Academy Manager] Ricky Martin told me, I was over the moon. To sign a two-year deal too is unbelievable and such a proud moment for me and my family.
